Major: General Studies
Class Standing: Freshman
Hobbies: Playing soccer, running track, exploring the outdoors, and volunteering.
Interest: Video Production and keeping up to date with technology

The experience I gained from playing soccer, allowed me to share my gifts with my peers and future generations. I captained my high school soccer team as well as my track and field team. I would like to bring my leadership, hard work, and dedication I learned from sports into my studies and education. My goals if elected Freshman Class Senator is to provide students with the necessary study environment and resources in order for them to reach their potential.

Junior Class Senator Candidate
Raezheen Pascua

Major: Public Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Administration
Class Standing: Junior

I transferred from Leeward Community College to UH West Oahu during the Spring 2017 semester. While attending LeewardCC, I was nominated to be President and held that position for a full academic year and before presidency I was a senator for 3 semesters. My experience with Student Government at Leeward is what lead me to apply for Junior Class Senator here at UH West Oahu. I enjoy working with faculty, staff and fellow students to make the academic community the best it can be for all students who attend. Currently, I am a mentor for PUEO Leadership at UH West Oahu to help new incoming students transition from high school to college and I would like to help the junior class in the same way through Student Government. As a senator, I want to work on making the transfer process more seamless since many juniors are transfers from other colleges. Most importantly though, I want the junior class to use me as an advocate to continue making UH West Oahu the campus of their dreams.

Hobbies and Interest: Listening to music, singing, dance, playing instruments (alto saxophone), socializing, being active, read comic books, watch TV and eating junk food

Throughout high school, I have been actively taking leadership in Student Government and sports. I was Secretary/Co-Treasurer for 4 years in Student Government and in sports, I played volleyball and basketball for 4 years then track and field for 1 year, my leadership role was a team player. During high school, I motivated my classmates and teammates to keep trying their best in everything they do to the last minute and never give up. My reasons for running for Student Government is to stay active, be busy and having the knowledge of important events and other things going on in school. My goals if I were elected to the office is meeting the needs of the students and hopefully doing my best in my position to represent Business Administration Division.

I have dedicated over 1000 hours to service. I was also a thespian and volunteered in about 7 different stage plays with the Hilltop Theater. I am running to begin building a foundation for the improvement of the individual as well as incorporate the cooperation of society. I would like us all to help others find their potential, while aiding those who need assistance in the process.
