Here are the candidates running for ASUHWO Fall 2014 Special Elections:

Candidate for Junior Class Senator

Brieana M. Williams

Class standing:
Junior
Major: Public Administration with a concentration in Health Administration
Statement: I have always found great enjoyment being active in the community and being a contributing member of society. I have also been a part of the judicial commission in spring 2012 and was the sophomore senator in spring 2014. I wish to serve in the position of junior senator for one primary reason, that is, to give voice to the students at UHWO. Because college may be a once-in-a-lifetime thing, I would like to help ensure that each student-member experience during his/her year at this beautiful campus and that student understands that his/her voice is heard. My goal is to ensure the student body knows that UHWO Associated Students is here for them and will represent them to the best of our ability should any student need us. If elected, I promise a carry out my duties and responsibilities as junior senator in an ethical and efficient manner.

Candidate for Business Administration Senator
Eric H. Kang

Class standing: Junior
Major: Business Administration-Accounting
Hobbies: Bonding with people and making connections!
Statement: I have held a treasurer position for Accounting Student Night Event at Kapiolani Community College in fall 2013 and also I was a member of the Accounting Club here at UHWO last semester. From this experience, I have realized that networking and sharing resources are imperative factors for succeeding both in school and life. I am running for this position to make our BUSA students to stay active and aware in school events and socialize with one another. If elected, I would ensure that our fellow BUSA students have more social night events where we can network with each other and share our study tips/guides and also job sources as well!
