Mahalo to all those who attended our first Town Hall meeting in October! We will be having a three day Town Hall meeting from November 15 - November 17 in the D-Building Tunnels. Different senate members will be available to constituents on different days so please make sure to take a look at our schedule if you are interested in meeting with your particular class or division senator. See you all this week! Education Majors! Your ASUHWO Education Senator Lydia Haff will be holding a Teacher Townhall for you all to voice your questions and concerns! Nov 17 & Dec 1 @3pm in B-217. Hope to see you there!
Talk Story Session with the Vice Chancellors on Monday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room (C208). The Vice Chancellors are going to discuss plans for the new Allied Health/Administration building, including academic and student support programs being housed in the new building, construction timeline, etc. We should be able to see renderings of the new building as well!
There will also be updates about space/CIP plans (i.e. bookstore, advising center), and academic affairs and student affairs collaborations (i.e. Starfish and Star GPS) meant to address graduation and retention. Please spread the word about the Talk Story Session! |

ASUHWOThe Associated Students of the University of Hawai'i at West O'ahu (ASUHWO) is an autonomous governing body that works to coordinate student services, including organizing school wide functions and recognizing funding, and supporting student groups at the University of Hawai'i at West O'ahu (UHWO). ASUHWO continuously works to convey student concerns to the school's faculty and administration, and its members serve as consulted stakeholders in school-wide decisions. |
